Quality Assurance Executive


Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the activities of Quality Assurance Inspectors to ensure that all products received are in accordance with all applicable government requirements and/or certifications as well as company quality standards and expectations (applicable product includes fresh and smoked meat, fresh fish, dairy, deli, poultry, as well as frozen food).
  • Communicates to merchandising regarding all product issues as well as clarification on generation of specifications in order to keep current specifications up to date.
  • As assigned, is responsible for record keeping of rejected product as well as other pertinent inspection information.
  • As assigned, prepares period reports, executive summaries and other written reports to provide concise, meaningful information regarding department activities, trends and goals.
  • Supervises all on-site product inspection.
  • As needed, assist and provide direction to other related departments to ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all products.
  • Conduct GMP Training and Branch audit
  • Involve in New Product Development project 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification :

  • Bachelor degree in Food science, Microbiology or Biology.
  • minimum 3-5 year-experience of quality control, quality assurance or relevant experience in food industry.
  • Knowledge of GMP and HACCP are preferred
  • Good communication skills; Familiarity with database systems; some quality inspection experience recommended.
  • Well-organized, proactive and self-motivated with strong communication skill
  • Multi-tasking skills, independent and highly-responsible, proactive, good presentation skills, open minded
  • Good command in English.
